011716 – Move Into A Place and Stance of Victory

Prophetic Word during Pre-Service Prayer Time
The Embassy, Oshawa, Ontario
January 17, 2016

Once again during prayer time the Lord dropped Psalm 124 into my spirit;

If the Lord had not been on our side – let Israel say –
if the Lord had not been on our side when people attacked us,
they would have swallowed us alive when their anger flared against us;
the flood would have engulfed us, the torrent would have swept over us,
the raging waters would have swept us away.

Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be torn by their teeth.
We have escaped like a bird from the fowler’s snare;
the snare has been broken, and we have escaped.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 124:1-8 – NIV

I  have a note in the margin of my Bible from September 6, 2015 when the Lord dropped the same Psalm into my spirit the first time. At that time I sensed the Spirit of the Lord saying, “Soon the season will come, soon the season will shift when I will call My people to shift from a ‘hunkering down stance’ to a new stance in Me. Soon I will call My people to move into a place and stance of victory. Press into Me, press into Me as I call upon your Issachar anointing for the appointed time and day to release this word”.

I sense this is a “now” word. A portion of this word was declared during the pre-service prayer time…

I sense the Spirit of the Lord saying “Now is the time to not only ‘move’ into a place and stance of victory, but to actually ‘shift’ into a place and stance of victory”. For the Lord would say “I am calling this a new season. The political shift of the nation has changed and now is the time to cease your mourning and grieving and take up a new stance in this new season. Now is the time to shift, now is the time to declare and now is the time to decree that I am still God over this nation and I am still on the throne. Now is the time for My people to shift their mindset and move into a place and a stance of victory”.

“For have I not said” declares the Lord, “that I will never leave you nor forsake you? Just as I reminded Israel in days past that I was always on their side when attacks came their way, so I remind My body this day that it is time to shift from a place of grieving and mourning and move into the place and stance of victory declaring that My grace empowers you to move beyond where you are and to take this place and this nation for Me”.

For the Spirit of the Lord would say, “Do not be shaken do not be rocked by the news you hear on the airwaves. For I say this day declare My plans and decree My purposes and re-take the airwaves with praise and declaration of victory”.

As I’ve been praying over this word today I asked the Lord what the “stance of victory” should look like. Aside from declaring His plans and His purposes I sense the Lord saying now more than ever we must be a people standing in a position of victory wearing His Full Armor, (Ephesians 6:10-18). The stance of victory comes as we “put on the full armor of God”. We are then ready to “stand against the devils schemes” and “stand our ground”. When we have put on the “full armor of God” and “after we’ve done everything” we are “able to stand”. When we are wearing the “full armor of God” we are “able to stand firm” as we “move into a place and stance of victory”.

Keep encouraged!
